The Kalsubai Monsoon Trek is a popular trekking route in Maharashtra, India, known for its scenic beauty and challenging terrain. Kalsubai Peak is situated in the Western Ghats of Maharashtra, near the town of Igatpuri.

Kalsubai Peak is the highest peak in Maharashtra, standing at an elevation of 1,646 meters (5,400 feet) above sea level.

The trek offers breathtaking views of the surrounding hills, lush greenery, waterfalls, and picturesque landscapes, especially during the monsoon season when the region is at its most verdant.

ITINERARY

Day 1
  • 23:00 Meet us at Pritam Hotel, Dadar (East)
  • 23:15 Departure from Dadar.
  • 00:00 Pick up from Teen Hath Naka Junction, Thane.
Day 2
  • 04:00 Reach Base Village.
  • 04:30 Freshen up and tea-biscuits.
  • 05:00 Commencement of the trek after briefing and a short introduction.
  • 09:00 Reach Kalsubai top; explore the summit and witness some of the other peaks from top.
  • 09:30 Start descending.
  • 12:00 Reach base village.
  • 12:30 Lunch at base village.
  • 14:00 Start return journey.
  • 20:00 Reach Mumbai.
Sunday – (Day 2)
  • 07:00 AM – Have breakfast and head to visit nearby falls.
  • 09:00 AM – If time permits we will explore the local market and buy tea powder and coffee beans for our loved ones.
  • 11:30 AM – Depart for Bangalore and Reach by 10:30 PM (approx.)
